handicap accessible bathroom, waterfront view, historic building charm
Stairs everywhere, making luggage handling extremely inconvenient!!! Major upgrades needed for room cleanliness, as outdated furniture was less than appealing!!! Forget about having a TV or refrigerator in the room!!!

would love to come back here some time
Spent 2 nights in an economy double room with a stunning lake view. The place had a chill vibe and was super cozy. You can kayak right from the property and there's a nice grassy area for kids to play. Dining on the porch was a must—those sunset views while enjoying a good meal were incredible!

The sunset dining experience on the porch was a highlight, providing lovely views while enjoying freshly prepared tandoori dishes. Kayaking right from the property was convenient and added a nice adventure, while the grassy grounds were perfect for kids to play. However, room cleanliness left much to be desired, and the lack of a refrigerator limited convenience. Some noise from adjacent rooms disrupted our peace at times.

The setting is perfect for relaxation, and we loved the chairs by the lake. We also found great hiking nearby, making it easy to enjoy some outdoor fun. Just note, there wasn't any morning coffee at the inn, which was a bit disappointing.
One evening, we made a reservation for dinner but were seated in an empty dining room instead of a nicer spot outdoors, which felt a bit off.

Charming waterfront views made the stay enjoyable, especially dining on the cozy porch during sunset. The convenience of kayaking right from the property offered a refreshing outdoor experience. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness left much to be desired, with some exposed wires and unmatched bedding condition. Additionally, interactions with staff were unwelcoming at times, impacting the overall experience.

I discovered this historic inn by accident while traveling through a snowstorm. The owners arranged for a different accommodation when our booked room was not available. Their dedication was evident. I appreciated the dining options by the water with a sunset view. The atmosphere gave a sense of tranquility. This experience allowed me to relax and rejuvenate amidst nature, perfect for someone who enjoys art history and cultural exploration.
